Day 1
Entry Beijing
Beijing: Municipality of Beijing is one of the four municipalities of China, the capital of P.R.C. the old translated name is Peking. It is the political, economic, cultural, and scientific center of China. Its city site was located in over 3000 years ago, known as the world famous historic and cultural ancient city. Beijing has the world's biggest international trade centre—China World Trade Center, the world biggest ancient palace—Forbidden City, the world's oldest and longest wall—Great Wall, the world's biggest royal garden—Summer Palace...

Day 2
Highlights Today: Tiananmen Square; Forbidden City; Temple of Heaven; Beijing Roast Duck Dinner.

Forbidden City: used to be the imperial palace of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties. There are over 9,000 unique ancient royal buildings in the city. Visiting this intact grand palace complex, you will have a wonderful taste in numerous works of art, and you will unveil mystery of the royal family life in the ancient times.

Tiananmen Square: is the world's largest open ground, it was the front gate of the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Trip to the Tiananmen Square, tourists can see the soldiers guarding the Chinese national flag, the stately Monument to the People's Heroes, the old Tiananmen Rostrum, the Great Hall of the People, revolutionary statues, marble ornamental cloud pillars...

Temple of Heaven: literally the Altar of Heaven, it is a place where the emperors offered sacrifice to Heaven and pray for bumper harvest. This beautiful traditional temple is the largest complex of existing ancient sacrificial buildings in China.  

Beijing Roast Duck Dinner: Beijing Roast Duck has enjoyed the reputation of "the Most Delicious Dish under Heaven" for centuries. It is the famous food that Beijing has to offer. Most visitors who come to Beijing must have a bite.

Day 3
Highlights Today: Badaling Great Wall; Ming tombs; Sacred Way; Beijing Opera

Badaling Great Wall: Chinese Great Wall was originally built in the Spring & Autumn Period (770-476BC), 12,600 kilometers in length. It has been considered the greatest of the ancient military projects in the world. Its Badaling section is known as one of the nine famous passes in China, which was built in 1505AD.

Sacred Way:an attractive 7-kilomtetre-long-tree-lined way which leads to the Ming Tombs, bordered by 12 sets each of animal and human statues, and includes the attractive Great Red Gate, housing a stele on the back of a tortoise, and marble memorial archway. This way is the main way among the sacred ways of the Ming Tombs. 

Ming Tombs: built during 1409-1644, it is the mausoleums of 13 emperors, 23 queens, over 30 imperial concubines and a eunuch of the Ming Dynasty. Because of its long history, palatial and integrated architecture, this site has a high cultural and historic value.

Beijing Opera: also known as Peking Opera. It is a comprehensive performing art that combines music, singing, dialogue, pantomime, acrobatics and martial arts. It has a history of over 200 years and regarded as the national opera of China.

Day 4
Highlight Today: Beijing Hutong (Beijing Old Lanes)

Beijing Hutong: Hutong is a product of the Yuan dynasty (1206-1368), it means "water well" in Mongolian. These unique street designs are, in fact, innumerous old interlaced narrow lanes with courtyard houses built on each side. Hutong is the epitome of Beijing folk life, which has been studied with the courtyard houses for many years as a kind of culture of Beijing.

Day 5
Highlights Today: Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum; Beilin Museum; Big Wild Goose Pagoda; Cantonese Cuisine

Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum: a much lauded destination in China, in which the terracotta warriors and horses have been extolled as "the eighth great wonder of the world" and "the greatest discovery of the 20th century" since they were dug up in 1974. Nearly 10,000 pieces of unequalled terracotta warriors and horses constitute a big commanding legion in the big pits of the museum. Two exquisite pieces of Bronze Chariots with Horses, uncounted bronze weapons such as crossbows, arrows, spears, swords, lances, and halberds etc also found in the pits. They were all listed on the World Cultural Heritage Catalogue by the UNESCO in 1987.

Xi'an Beilin Museum:also known as Xi'an Stele Forest Museum. It is a museum for famous stone sculptures, tombstones and steles which was first built in 1087 AD. There are over 3000 pieces of steles are housed in the museum, some of which were written by the greatest calligraphers of the ancient times. In addition, the highlights of the museum also include the old trees, Confucius Temple, steles' pavilions and the 11,000 pieces of cultural relics that housed in the big showrooms…

Big Wild Goose Pagoda: located in the Da Ci'en Temple, it was first built in the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, an eminent Buddhist scholar of the time, planned to have a huge stone pagoda built to house the Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures that he had brought back from India.

Cantonese Cuisine:originates from Guangdong (Canton), a southern China's province. It is one of the eight famous cuisine systems of China, consists of Guangzhou Cuisine, Chaozhou Cuisine and Dongjiang (or Hakka) Cuisine. Abundant fresh raw materials, unique cooking ways, distinctive taste and countless recipes are peculiar to Cantonese Cuisine. Its three systems also have their own marked characteristics.

Day 6
Highlights Today: Shaanxi Provincial History Museum; Bell Tower; Ancient City Wall

Shaanxi Provincial History Museum: covers an area of 70,000 square meters, the museum houses a large collection of 113,000 historic and cultural objects unearthed in Shaanxi, being an absolute must for every visitor to Xian.

Bell Tower: a three-layer-eave-timbered magnificent tower featuring the architectural style of Tang and Song dynasties, is totally 36 meters in height, was originally built in 1384 AD, it has a giant bell, grey bricks, dark green tiles, gold-plating roof, and gilded paintings. This old architectural masterpiece of Xi'an has been considered the symbol of the city.

Ancient City Wall: is 15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers in perimeter, it is the most intact city defensive fortification in China, including moat, drawbridges, turrets, ramparts, sentry towers, gate towers, battlements and a number of other military facilities.

Dumpling Banquet:dumpling (Jiaozi) has a history of over 2,000 years in China. In 1987, having been invented many shapes and flavors, this traditional Chinese food was first offered on the banquet of a famous Xi'an restaurant, Jie Fang Lu Dumpling Restaurant. In the banquet, not only can the customers enjoy the most artistic shape of Jiaozi, but the most flavors of its kind in the world.

Highlights Today: Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple

Longmen Grottoes: Located on both banks of the Yi River, 13 kilometers south of Luoyang City, Henan Province, Longmen Grottoes is one of the four largest grottoes in China. As early as 1961, Longmen Grottoes had been authorized by the central government of China as a key national cultural relic protection site. It was authorized in 1982 by central government as one of the 44 National Parks of China. In 2000, it was listed on the catalog of the World Cultural Heritage.

White Horse Temple: Lying on the south of Mangshan Mountain and facing the Luohe River, White Horse Temple is about 20 kilometers to the east of Luoyang city, Henan province. The White Horse Temple has a history of over 1900 years. It is the first temple built since Buddhism spread to China in the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD). Since White Horse Temple established, Buddhism monasteries in China began to be called as 'temple'. White Horse Temple as a result was ever since regarded as the cradle of Buddhism in China. In history, highly accomplished Buddhist monks from China, even world renowned Buddhist monks from abroad used to pay visits to White Horse Temple in pursuit of Buddhism inspirations and wisdom.

Highlights Today:Shaolin Temple, Pagoda Forest, Shaolin Kungfu Show

Shaolin Temple: is a Ch'an Buddhist temple at Song Shan Mountain in Henan Province, China. The monastery was built by the Emperor Hsiao-Wen in AD 496, and the first abbot of Shaolin was Batuo, (also, Fotuo -the Chinese transposition of Buddha), an Indian dhyana master who came to China in AD 464 to spread Buddhist teachings. This temple is shrouded in legend and mystery. This is probably the most famous temple in China, not only because of its long history and its role in Chinese Buddhism, but also because of its martial arts or Wushu. Pagoda Forest: The Pagoda Forest of Shaolin Temple stands at the foot of Shaoshi Mountain about half a kilometer west of Shaolin Temple in Henan Province. It is a concentration of tomb pagodas for eminent monks and abbots of the temple. More than 240 tomb pagodas of various sizes from the Tang, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties (618-1911) make it the biggest pagoda forest in China.

Shaolin Kungfu Show:The origin of martial arts and kungfu is part of the mystique of Shaolin Temple and the Shaolin monks. There is a theatre which presents the famous Shaolin Kungfu Show at 10:30, 11:30, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, and 16:30. Its best to get there early, as it is only a small theatre with about 200 seats.

Highlights Today: The Bund, Nanjing Road

The Bund: a "Long Corridor" along the Huangpu River at Shanghai, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations of the city. For over 100 years, it has been a symbol of Shanghai, also called No.1East Zhongshan Road, named after a famous forerunner of Chinese democratic revolution—Doc. Sun Yat-sen. The Bud is considered the World's Architectural Complex Fair as there are 52 tall buildings lining the road featuring Gothic style, Baroque style, Romanesque style, classical style, Renaissance style, Sino-Western Style…

Nanjing Road: Shanghai's main shopping street, known as 'the No.1 commercial street of China'; also one of the most prosperous streets in Asia. Like a lying dragon shining day and night, stretching from the Bund east towards Hongqiao, with People's Square in the middle. In 2000 Nanjing Road was reconstructed to be a characteristic pedestrian street. The width is about twenty-eight meters and the total length is one thousand and two hundreds kilometers, which extends from Henanzhong Road to Xizangzhong Road.

Shanghai Museum: Known for it's over 120,000 pieces of Chinese antiquities, it is one of the most famous museums in china.

Yu Garden: aka Yuyuan Garden, situated in the Shanghai old town district, originally built by an officer of the Ming dynasty in 1559 and finished in 1557. Covering an area of 4.7 hectare, it features ancient cultural artifacts, pagodas, pavilions, carvings, rockeries, fountains, old trees and precious flowers etc. This hesternal private garden is one of the best representatives of the traditional architectural style of the Yangtze Delta area. 

Yuyuan Market: Yuyuan Market is a perfect combination of tourism, shopping, famous local food and Chinese folk entertainment. It is very bustling, and nearby the Yu Garden.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower: situated in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the third tallest one of its kind in the world. Towering over the city, it is 468 meters in height. For years, it has set tourism, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, meetings, exhibition, and other services in one. This city landmark building is one of the tourist hot spot in Shanghai. Climb to the top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower if you want a bird's eye-view of beautiful Shanghai!

Highlight Today: Zhujiajiao, Acrobatic Show

Zhujiajiao:Zhujiajiao makes a national name for its beautiful water, old stone bridges, unique streets, ancient temples, ancient private gardens, devious lanes and the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties built houses. It is located in the suburb of Shanghai City, only 48km to Shanghai Downtown, enjoys the reputation of Shanghai's Venice.
