Tiananmen Square: is the largest public square in the world spanning 100 acres. It was the front gate of the Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Temple of Heaven: iterally the Altar of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D, is located in southern Beijing. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, emperors came to the temple to worship the God of Heaven and pray for a good harvest.
Simatai Great Wall: located in the Miyun County, 120 kilometers from Beijing. It is renowned for its unique watch stations, walls and the stunning picturesque landscape. This section is very precipitous, still keeps the original form and known as the Chinese Great Wall Museum.
Beijing Hutong: Hutong is a product of the Yuan dynasty (1206-1368), it means "water well" in Mongolian. These unique street designs are, in fact, innumerous old interlaced narrow lanes with courtyard houses built on each side. Hutong is the epitome of Beijing folk life, which has been studied with the courtyard houses for many years as a kind of culture of Beijing.
Dumpling Banquet:dumpling (Jiaozi) has a history of over 2,000 years in China. Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show: A performance of music and dances that was originated from the Tang dynasty capital Chang'an (present Xi'an) over a thousand years ago. At the show, the musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments, and dancers perform the dances that were danced in the ancient palace. In Xi'an, there are two good places to enjoy Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, namely Shaanxi Song & Dance Theatre and Tangyuegong.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum: a much lauded destination in China, in which the terracotta warriors and horses have been extolled as "the eighth great wonder of the world" and "the greatest discovery of the 20th century" since they were dug up in 1974. Nearly 10,000 pieces of unequalled terracotta warriors and horses constitute a big commanding legion in the big pits of the museum. Two exquisite pieces of Bronze Chariots with Horses, uncounted bronze weapons such as crossbows, arrows, spears, swords, lances, and halberds etc also found in the pits. They were all listed on the World Cultural Heritage Catalogue by the UNESCO in 1987.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda: aka Dayan Pagoda, located in the Da Ci'en Temple, it was first built in the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, an eminent Buddhist scholar of the time, planned to have a huge stone pagoda built to house the Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures that he had brought back from India.
Bell Tower: a three-layer-eave-timbered magnificent tower featuring the architectural style of Tang and Song dynasties, is totally 36 meters in height, was originally built in 1384 AD, it has a giant bell, grey bricks, dark green tiles, gold-plating roof, and gilded paintings. This old architectural masterpiece of Xi'an has been considered the symbol of the city.
Ancient City Wall: The wall is 15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers in perimeter, it is the most well-preserved city defensive fortification in China including turrets, ramparts, sentry towers, gate towers, battlements and a number of other military facilities.

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base: is only 18 km away from Chengdu, there are many pandas are raised, in which you will have an intimate contact with the lovely living Chinese national treasures.
Du Fu's Thatched Roof Cottage:located in the downtown of Chengdu City, it is the illustrious Tang dynasty poet--Du Fu's former residence, renowned as the Mecca of the history of Chinese literature. It is attached by many unique Tang dynasty style buildings, with picturesque pastoral scene and beautiful bamboo forest.
Dufu (712-770) shares the same high reputation of his contemporary poet, Li Po (or Li Bai, one of the two greatest Tang dynasty poets, he has been nicknamed the Immortal of Poet for his romantic poems.), he has been extolled as the God of Poet for his splendid realistic poems since the Tang dynasty.
Wenshu Temple: Also called Wenshu Monastery, was originally built in the Sui dynasty (581-681A.D.) and rebuilt in 1697 of the Qing dynasty (1616-1911 A. D.). As the oldest and largest Buddhism temple found in Chengdu, Wenshu Temple is famous for its exquisite garden, solemn halls, the hundreds of painting, literature, artwork and calligraphy by celebrities. In addition, Wenshu Temple is also noted for it's over 300 Buddha statues of various materials and the tea house nearby.
Teahouse: Teahouse is considered the best place to learn about Chinese tea culture apart from enjoy some cups of tea. It is the important location for social gatherings, people gather there to listen to music or story telling by folk artists while drinking a cup of tea. Interestingly, in some famous teahouse, the wonderful tea art performance still been showed. Today, teahouses are seldom found in the big cities of China, but Chengdu is an exception. There are thousands of teahouses dotted in the city, in which you can see how the local people spend their free time.
Sichuan Food: also named Sichuan style dishes, it is one of the eight cuisine systems of China. It is famous for its hot and spicy "Tongue Numbering" dishes. According to the Chinese gourmets, the most authentic Sichuan food is cooked in Chengdu.

Qingyang Palace: Qingyang Palace also called Qingyang Temple or Green Ram Temple. It is the largest and oldest Taoist Temple built in Chengdu City. It has been rebuilt many times since the Zhou dynasty (11th century B.C.—256 B.C), the existing unique beautiful structures were built in from 1821 to 1850. There are two famous bronze rams are housed in the temple, so it gets the present name. Qingyang Temple is a window to see and learn about the mysterious Chinese Taoist culture.
Qintai Road:Qintai Road is a famous special business street in Chengdu, even in China. The pseudo-classic-stylish teahouses and shops lining on both sides of the road, many beautiful lanterns, statues and relief sculptures are considered the highlights there. Highlights Today: Tiger Leaping Gorge
Tiger Leaping Gorge: Located in the upper reach of the Jinsha River, Tiger Leaping Gorge extends for 18km from the Qiaotou Village in Zhongdian to the Daju Village in Lijiang. It drops 3790 meters and wanders 25 km through the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain. Along the lower, middle and upper section of the gorge, you will see numerous stunning waterfalls, dangerous rocks and shoals.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: Aka Yulongxueshan. It is the sacred mountain of the Naxi people and a treasure house of plants and animals. It has many top attractions such as the Spruce Plateau, yak Plateau, Lying Deer Plateau, Ganhe Plane, Jade Pool Reflection, Jade Pillar against the Sky, Remains of the Ancient Glacial Trough, Ice Pagoda Forest, Mahuang (Leech) Plane…the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is also the Mecca of skiers, every year many travelers from all over the world to visit the ski fields by the cableway.
Ancient Town of Lijiang: also called Dayan Old Town, located in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, is an ancient town inhabited mainly by the Naxi minority people. The town was founded in 1127. The roads in the town are paved with colored pebbles produced in Lijiang, and there are many stone bridges and memorial archways built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the residences are made of earth and wood. Palace murals depicting religious themes were painted during the Ming dynasty. The traditional Dongba Culture of the Naxi ethnic group has preserved in Lijiang.
Black Dragon Pool Park: Also called Jade Spring Park, it was originally built in 1737. There is a crystal pool resembles the crescent in the park, it is the source of the water system of the Lijiang Old Town, the reflection of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain can be found in the pool.
Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture: a museum showing the Naxi people's culture, dress, traditions, Dongba scriptures, and the history of Lijiang Old Town.

Qiongzhu Temple: Also known as Bamboo Temple, hidden in the Yu'an Moutain northwest of 10 km from Kunming. It is a famous Buddhist temple with outstanding artistic features and surrounding bamboo forest. Its highlight focuses on the 500 life-sized Buddha statues in totally fantastical positions (for example, man whose eyebrows grow down to the ground, monks ridding beasts or giant fish…).
Daguan Park: Daguan Park is a very beautiful lakeside park on the lakefront of Kunming Dianchi Lake. It is renowned for its exuberant plants, grotesque rocks, temples, pavilions, small bridges, causeway and clear running water.
